Habitual readers of seriousdanger may be curious about the status of the legal action undertaken against us by the office of the Vice President, Dick Cheney, to whom we referred as a "man-shaped sack of snake cunts" earlier this year.
Our position remains that this characterization is not defamatory because, to the best of our knowledge, it is true. So long as the Vice President makes no good-faith effort to disprove it, we must disregard his suit as disingenuous.
Let there be no mistake: We at seriousdanger have the utmost respect for Mr. Cheney and the office he occupies. True, his many critics often accuse him of underhandedness and thievery, of lacking the most rudimentary moral compass, and of being a self-interested liar of the most outrageous degree. We maintain, though, that they judge Mr. Cheney by inappropriate standards.
Yes, Mr. Cheney is a mendacious thug, a swindler and a contemptible jerk by any standard we might use to judge our fellow man. Our fellow man, however, has many significant natural advantages over a man-shaped sack of snake cunts. For a man-shaped sack of snake cunts, Mr. Cheney exhibits the very best behavior anyone could reasonably expect. We challenge our readers to fill a sack of
any shape with the cunts of
any reptile and see if the result is even one tenth as well-mannered, articulate and honorable as the Vice President.
